GD /PI –Group Discussion / Personal Interview

Some Universities also conduct Group Discussion / Personal Interview of the students to shortlist the best students for taking admission in the BBA Programme.

The students are required to keep themselves abreast with the latest happenings in the world of business and economy so that they are able to perform well in the Group Discussion Round and the Personal Interview Round.

The main objective of the GD and PI round is to assess the various managerial and personality related traits in the prospective admission seeker.

Students are advised to be soft and polite during the group discussion and personal interview rather than being aggressive during the process.

The assessors / experts during the interview assess the personality traits including communication skills, business orientation, innovation in response, promptness, dressing sense, team spirit and various other psychological dimensions suiting the interests of business.

The students opting for a programme have multiple opportunities after they pass out from the programme. They can go for a Masters followed by a PhD for making a career in academics. They can go for admission in MBA programme in India or abroad and pursue a specialized job in the domain of Marketing, Finance, HR or IT / IB. Alternatively they can join a job immediately after the BBA programme and pursue the MBA programme after gaining few years of work experience.
