The objective of the Ph.D. programme at Sanskriti University is to enable students to engage in advanced studies in various disciplines fostering original and independent research in their areas of specialization & integrate their professional education and experience in solving larger problems of society. Scholars, working closely under the guidance of senior faculty are expected to develop their abilities through course work /seminars/projects to have the depth & breadth of knowledge in their chosen areas of study, ability to identify research problems, to do the actual research and ability to write, present and defend the results.

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have to possess:

Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55 % marks (CGPA5.5 on a 10 point scale) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.

Admission shall be based on :

  • a) Eligibility criteria asspecified inpoint no.02
  • b) Performance inEntranceTest & Interview
  • c) The University reserves the right to limit the number of scholarsto be admitted to the University at any time based on the available resources and other facilities.

Candidates can fill the application form through the University’s web-site (www.sanskriti.edu.in) by filling the application form online. All mandatory details are essential to be filled up

The candidates will upload at the appropriate place a scanned copy of their photograph on the form. Once the mandatory details are completed, the payment option will be activated for making online payment of Rs. 1500 / - as application fees (non-refundable) & subsequent submission of the form.

  • Off-Line :

If a candidate wants to submit the application fees via offline mode, he/she needs to apply online and send a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- payable to Sanskriti University at Mathura. The candidate must mention the application number (that will be provided once the online application is submitted by the candidate) at the back of the Demand Draft.

The Demand Draft shall be sent to the Registrar, Sanskriti University, 28 K.M. Stone, Mathura - Delhi Highway, Chhata, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, by post or delivered by hand.

The students can be registered as Full Time or on Part Time basis

  • A Full Time scholar has to attend the university regularly and will be subject to the prescribed attendance rules of the University.
  • Professionally employed personnel such as working engineers, scientists and teachers may be allowed to pursue Ph.D. on part-time basis. Such candidates are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their parent organization /department /employer stating that he / she is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis and that his / her duties permit him / her to devote sufficient time for research.

The Programme duration shall be minimum three years including course work and a maximum of 6 years.

1. After 3yrs, only tuition fee is chargeable for each extension year till the submission of thesis.
2. Part time PhD program does not have any residential requirement. Hostel facility is not available for Part Time students
3. Candidates can use the Guest House for stay on the chargeable.
4. No Fee for registration (In case of migration of other University) – As Per University rules.

Refund of Fee

No Fee shall be refunded, after commencement of the session.
