ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Sanskriti University, Mathura has been established under the Uttar Pradesh Act No.20 of 2016 to promote and facilitate higher education in various disciplines in emerging areas with professionalism and sole endeavour. It is approved by UGC, ICAR, MHRD, NCTE, AIU, IIC and an active member of Association of Commonwealth Universities, U.K. It believes in value based education. It is committed to promote Indian culture throughout the country. It runs number of schools in various disciplines as Ayurveda, Para Medical, Agriculture, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, Management, Teacher Education, Hotel management & Tourism etc. The University enhances human capabilities through teaching, practice, research, extension work and consultation services with futuristic vision to achieve the excellence in life. About the School of Education:
The School of Education was established in 2016 as a part of the Sanskriti University, Mathura (U.P.) to render teaching, research and community services in professional manner. It runs various educational programmes such as Integrated B.A.B.Ed., Integrated B.Sc.B.Ed.,B.El.Ed., B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D.to train professionals in teaching as well as administration. The school has well equipped modern laboratories, computerized library, and classrooms with modern facilities. Interactive teaching methodology by the highly qualified and proficient faculty makes the school first choice for the students.
About the Faculty Development Programme:
NEP 2020 envisages Learner Centred Interactive Pedagogy (LCIP) being the policy priority of the MoE in developing country like India to attain the ultimate goal of education i.e. quality learning outcomes overcoming the educational challenges. LCIP focuses on learner centred pedagogical approaches that make the learners actively involved in learning process according to their interest, felt needs, motivation, learning styles, abilities etc. to have maximum , better and long lasting learning with deep understanding, acquire higher order of thinking skills to use in practical life situations. Moreover, learners must be participatory in and out of the class to explore the educational resources and interactive with teachers and experts to learn more. Thus, it is the dire need to shift the teacher-centred classroom practices into learner-centred pedagogy focusing on employing content seeds instead of covering content
School of Education, Sanskriti University is organising FDP on the theme-'Learner Centred Interactive Pedagogy (LCIP) as Envisaged in NEP 2020' from 21st June 2023 to 27th June 2023 in online mode with an objective to orient faculty, research scholars, teacher educators, student teachers regarding innovative pedagogy according to the interest, felt needs, learning styles, potentialities and abilities of the students. All the speakers are experts in their field.

Who Can Register
Faculty and Research scholars working in the area of Management, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public administration, Agriculture, any of Biological, Social and Physical sciences in Universities, Colleges, and teacher education institutions. It is also highly advantageous for the school teachers working at different levels. It will also be of great advantage to the future teachers because they are to use it when they will enter in the profession of teaching.
