Neeraj Kumar
Head - Department of Physiotherapy
Mr. NEERAJ KUMAR has a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Sports Physiotherapy. He is a well known speaker on this subject and has spoken at Physiotherapy conferences and workshops across the country.
He has worked as Asst. Professor & Programme Chair, Department of Physiotherapy at Galgotias University, Greater Noida and as Assistant Professor cum Academic Coordinator in Saaii College of Medical Science & Technology, Kanpur in the past.
He has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by “Delhi United” for invaluable contribution to the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.
He is currently General Secretary, Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and Member of International Scientific Committee and Editorial Review Board on Sports and Health Sciences, World Academy SET. He is also on the Editorial Board of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Journal (POTJ). He is a member of National Editorial Advisory Board of Indian Journal of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (IJPOT) which is a journal of international repute.
His professional skills include BLS (Basic Life Support) and ALS (Advanced Life Support). He is also well versed with the use of computers and has expertise in SPSS. He considers his positive attitude, motivated self as his strengths. His leadership Skills and analytical skills are an add-on to his medical education that also helps him mentor his students towards professional success.
His hobbies include playing Sudoku, travelling, reading and interacting with new people. He is a food lover as well.
