Sanskriti Centre of Krishna Consciousness, a new initiative by Sanskriti University, is inaugurated by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' Ji, Hon'ble Minister of Education, Govt. of India on 9th January 2021. The Centre will have artifacts, will also have a Museum besides having Manuscripts, Teachings of Lord Krishna. The University proposes to award honorary Doctorate (Ph.D.) to those who undertake and conduct research on works of Krishna and his philosophy. The conferment of honorary doctorate is not confined to India and will be available to Citizens of other countries as well. A chair has been established at the University for this purpose.
It is to be clarified that the study is not limited to religion but Krishna as a philosophy of life. This initiative of the University is expected to be one of the first not only in India but globally.
