Ayurveda is considered as the ancient most health care system in the world and currently number one alternative medicine care system in India. As per Ayurveda philosophy, ‘Health’ is a state of equilibrium of normal functions of doshas (Bio-humours), Dhatus (Body matrix), malas (excretable products) and Agni (Metabolic fire) with delighted body, mind, and soul. Treatment in Ayurveda is done with or without drugs and application of specific rules of diet, physical activities and mental status to bring back the state of equilibrium i.e. health.
