Department of KriyaSharir

The department of KriyaSharir is concerned with the physiology of the human body in which students acquire a knowledge of basic Ayurvedic concepts like Dosha, Dhatu, Mala, Prakriti, Agni, Ojas so as to understand and analyze the uniqueness of every individual. The department imparts education to students with evidence-based teaching to become the world's leading Ayurvedic professionals with scientific orientation. To accomplish the Ayurvedic basics in a scientific manner, the department has a full-fledged laboratory and practical hall for biochemical experiments and investigations. As per CCIM requirements, the lab is well equipped with Kymograph, Spirometer, Response time analyzer charts, specimens.

Department of RachanaSharir

The department of RachanaSharir comprises the study of the human body via dissection to set forth a strong foundation about basic medical knowledge by sharing the theoretical and practical knowledge of vital structures of the human body using Ayurveda perspectives.
As per CCIM guidelines, the department is well equipped with a well-preserved elegant museum having specimens of glands, genital systems, models of the cardiovascular system, urinary system, digestive system, sensory organs, reproductive system, neurovascular system, skeletal system, and a dissection hall for cadaver preservation. RachanaSharir is an extremely dynamic and interesting subject to an inquisitive practitioner of Ayurveda. All the medical sciences require essential basic knowledge of RachanaSharir. Hence the study is indeed the most important of the basic sciences of life.

Department of Samhita Siddhant

The department of Samhita Siddhant is established to impart knowledge about the basic principles of Ayurveda by learning of original texts and treatises of Ayurvedic science and Ayurvedic medicine in its mother Language-Sanskrit. It also involves in imparting the application of concepts in diagnosis and planning treatment by demonstrating evaluative & judgmental skills in making appropriate decisions. The department offers the study of the philosophical fundamentals of Ayurveda. The basic concepts if applied properly and in its right way will lead to the absolute knowledge of ailments; which can be applied to the newer diseases, also. The learning and mastery of the Sanskrit language is imperative to the learning of the basic principles of Ayurveda and to this extent, the department offers extensive curriculum-based tutorials for the learning of Sanskrit.

Department of Rasashastra and BhaishajyaKalpana

The department of Rasashastra and BhaishajyaKalpana has been established with the mission to impart quality education about the characteristics and varieties of drug originating from minerals.
The course content is designed to set forth education and training in improvising the properties of the drug to make it more safe and effective by inducing new or existing formulations. Therefore, Rasashastra and BhaishajyaKalpana is an important branch of Ayurveda.
As per CCIM rules, the department is equipped with all the necessary specimens, equipment, preparatory and quality testing labs, drug store, charts, and models. The faculty members are adequately skilled and experienced under whom our dear students can undertake knowledge, skills and competencies with modern pedagogical tools and techniques.

Department of RogaNidan EvamVikritiVigyan

The department of RogaNidan Evam VikritiVigyan is established to focus on the understanding of the depth of disease and pathogenicity by working as the groundwork for all clinical subjects in Ayurveda. The main objective of this department is to transform an undergraduate into an Ayurvedic graduate by bestowing complete knowledge about traditional methodology with recent developments in clinical diagnostics, and advanced investigations with clinical interpretation. A well-equipped laboratory with the tutorial room has been designed for conducting various laboratory diagnostic investigations, pathological tests, ECG, USG, and X-Ray for carrying out essential practical.

Department of Kaumarbhritya

Department of Kaumarbhritya expertly deals with the child care right from conception till maturity. Kaumarbhritya is the most important branch of Astanga Ayurveda. It focusses on all aspects of prevention and management of childhood illnesses, healthy upbringing of newborns, infants and children in the most holistic methodology. This department contains a museum which is equipped with pictorial charts on the concepts of Kaumarbhritya and models through which, complete theoretical, clinical, and practical knowledge of Kaumarbhritya is efficiently communicated among the undergraduate students. The department also boost of numerous specimens which are integral in imparting practical knowledge of the Kaumarbhritya. The department has been promoting Ayurvedic immune boosters to children for their optimal growth and development. This department works with the aim of globalizing Ayurvedic principles of child health care.

Department of Prasuti Tantra Evam StriRoga

Prasuti Tantra Evam StriRoga is the specialized branch of Ayurveda that deals with women's reproductive health, childbirth and, management of gynecological disorders, also involving the care of different phases of pregnancy to produce a healthy progeny. It follows a unique Ayurvedic prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care protocol in order to have a safe delivery and healthy mother and child. The department is established to impart teaching and training about gynecological disorders and management to undergraduates. The department is well-equipped with gynecological surgical specimens, female dummy, models, gynecological charts and posters. The aim of the department is to promote Ayurvedic concepts of reproductive health and assist in the national program of Reproductive and Child Health by promoting GarbhiniParicharya (Antenatal care through Ayurveda) through quality teaching and clinical training.

Department of SwasthaVritta

The department of SwasthaVritta has been established with the view to impart Ayurvedic lifestyle and maintenance of the health by emphasizing proper daily regimen as well as a seasonal regimen, day-to-day living like the morning routine, cleanliness, evening routine, night routine etc. The Department is strengthened by highly qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic faculty members who impart knowledge and practical training to undergraduates about personal hygiene, prevention of contagious diseases. Department is full-fledged with audio-visual units, departmental library, museum, demonstrative charts and models, and yoga hall to conduct Yogasans.

Department of Kayachikitsa

The Department of Kayachikitsa is established to impart theoretical as well as practical teaching and training on Rasayan-Vajikaran, Manasroga, and Panchkarma. Kayachitikitsa avails herbal and holistic medicine, which delves deep into ascertaining the root cause of the illness by dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of general diseases, such as skin disorders, diabetes, tuberculosis, rheumatoid arthritis. The department has a full-fledged O.P.D., a museum with a good number of models, specimens, and charts. The department is well equipped with ECG, Pulse Oximeter, Nebulizer.

Department of Panchkarma

The department of Panchakarma is specially designed to impart knowledge about those five procedures which will help for the detoxification of mind and body through the nearest possible route that will preserve and promote perfect health. The therapy eliminates metabolic toxins from the body, allowing permanent healing of the tissues and channels by performing three phases: Poorva karma (preparatory procedures), Pradhana karma (main procedure), and Paschat karma (post-operative procedure). The department is engaged in providing practical teaching and training to the students about the subject of Panchakarma.

Department of Shalakya Tantra

The department of Shalakya Tantra is renowned for the treatment and management of disorders concerned with head, eyes, nose, ears, dental, neck, and throat.
The Department imparts classified education and training in dealing with delicate parts of the body by emphasizing special Ayurvedic treatments like KriyaKalpa, Nasya, Moordha Taila, Eye Exercises, Basti in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the CCIM.
The department is well equipped with all ENT and eye surgical models, collective specimens, charts, audio/visual CDs of surgical procedures to turn out undergraduate into a competent clinician exhibiting pre and post-operative treatment and care.

Department of Shalya Tantra

The department of Shalya Tantra has been established with the view to impart quality education of Surgical and Para-surgical services.
The course content of the program is designed to impart value-based education and clinical inputs to the creative young minds to obtain their skill and potential in the zone of principles and features of Asthi-Sandhi MarmagataRoga (Bone & Joint Injuries), KsharaEvam Anushastra Karma (Para-Surgery) etc.
As per CCIM rules, the department has all the necessary infrastructure, OPD, IPD beds, well-equipped operation theatre, surgical specimens, and teaching facts and figures to equip the undergraduates about Ayurvedic surgeries.
