The objective of the Ph.D programme at SANSKRITI University is to enable students to engage in advanced study in various disciplines fostering original and independent research in their areas of specialization & integrate their professional education and experience in solving larger problems of society.
Scholars, working closely under the guidance of the Guides and senior faculty, are expected to develop their abilities through course work / seminars / projects to have the breadth of knowledge, develop expertise to have the depth of knowledge in their chosen areas of study, ability to identify research problems, to do the actual research and ability to write, present and defend the results.
2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
Candidates seeking admission to the PhD program shall have to possess:
Masters degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Business Administration with a minimum of 55 % marks (CGPA 5.5 on a 10 point scale) or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution.
3. ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission shall be based on:
a) Satisfying the requirements of minimum qualifications as laid down in clause 2.
b) Performance in written Exams & Interview for those who have not qualified in UGC NET/CSIR
(JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder or M.Phil.
c) Performance in Interview for those who have qualified in UGC NET/CSIR (JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder or M.Phil.
d) Candidates are required to propose and discuss their research interests and research hypothesis at the time of Interview.
e) The University reserves the right to limit the number of scholars to be admitted to the University at any time. This decision would be guided by the available resources and other facilities.
f) The names of the selected candidates will be displayed on the website and intimated through e-mails.
g) The selected students shall be allowed provisional registration after he/she has paid the fees prescribed by the University.
4. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Candidates can fill the application form through the University official web-site (www.sanskriti.edu.in) by filling the application form online. All mandatory details are essential to be filled up.
The candidates will upload at the appropriate place a scanned copy of their photograph on the form. Once the mandatory details are completed, the payment option will be activated for making payment of Rs. 1500/- as application fees (non-refundable) & subsequent submission of the form.
If a candidate wants to submit the form via offline mode, he/she needs to send the downloaded filled-up application form along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- payable to Sanskriti University at Mathura, as application fees (non-refundable).
The Application form duly filled in along with Bank Draft will be forwarded to the Registrar, Sanskriti University, 28 K.M. Stone, Mathura – Delhi Highway, Chhata, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, by post or delivered by hand.
5. CATEGORY OF STUDENTS
The students can be registered as Full Time or on Part Time basis:
I. A Full Time scholar has to attend the university regularly and will be subject to the prescribed attendance rules of the University.
II. Professionally employed personnel such as working engineers, scientists and teachers may be allowed to pursue Ph.D. on part-time basis. Such candidates are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their parent organization/department/employer stating that he/she is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis and that his/her duties permit him/her to devote sufficient time for research.
6. MINIMUM & MAXIMUM PERIOD OF REGISTRATION
The minimum period of registration for a full time research student for submitting his/her dissertation is two years from the date of permanent registration. The period is three year for candidates pursuing the degree as a part time scholar.
A full time Ph.D. student/candidate may be permitted to submit his/her dissertation within
a maximum period of 5 years from the date of permanent registration and for a part time scholar, this maximum period is 6 years.
Tuition Fee (Full Time): Rs. 65,000/- per annum
Tuition Fee (Part Time): Rs. 50,000/- per annum
8. REFUND OF FEE
No Fee shall be refunded, after commencement of the session.
9. All students will be subject to the provisions of SANSKRITI University, Uttar Pradesh Act (20 of 2016), Statutes, ordinances & Regulations (as amended from time to time).

- The Exam will start at 11:00 hrs onwards. Candidates, who are to appear in Exam are required to report at 10.00 a.m. on the date of examination.
- The exam will test candidates’ research aptitude and knowledge in the relevant discipline
- Candidates who have qualified in UGC NET/CSIR (JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE/Teacher
Fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil. Programmes are exempted from Written
- The candidates, who are exempted from written Examinations are to report at 1.00
p.m. for document verification & subsequent Interview.
