Two Days’ Cultural, Technological and Musical Extravaganza concluded with a grand success

The most awaited event of the year, Spark 2019 was a grand success and what a tremendous event it turned out to be. Filled with music, dance, art, and joy, the fest was celebrated with zeal and ecstasy by everyone. The whole University exhibited the cultural spirit for a couple of days and reflected high energy level.

An amalgamation of both the cultural and technical events was displayed at the fest, and the students unraveled both their creative and technical sides leaving everybody amazed with their skills and talent in a diverse range of competitions. Frequently coming up with new original ideas and original performances made everybody stand in awed silence.

The students displayed an optimal blend of knowledge, skills, and competencies in the form of various domain-specific working models and innovative models to portray their academic and research brilliance.
The two days long technical, cultural, musical and extra-curricular extravaganza gave a wonderful platform to the various students of the University to showcase their individual and team brilliance, creativity, innovation, strategic planning, and implementation.

Chancellor Shri Sachin Gupta applauded the sincere efforts of the students and their mentors who guided and motivated them to prepare various innovative models as a culmination of their scientific ideas. He said that the university is committed to the cause of evolving the culture of research, innovation, and patents. He emphasized that the students should focus on innovative projects which can be implemented in real-world situations and the students should also focus on techno-economic feasibility of the models/projects. He also said that students should take part in various extra-curricular activities and competitions for shaping their overall personality.

Pro-Chancellor Shri Rajesh Gupta visited the stalls which displayed the various working models, innovative models and also models built from waste material (Kabad se Jugaad). He appreciated the efforts invested by the students and said that projects/models enable the students to transform their learnings in the form of innovative products and services. He inspired the students to focus on more and more innovative product and service level innovations in the domain of agriculture as India is predominantly an agricultural economy.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Rana Singh said that most of the schools of the University have done a commendable job by preparing the models/projects. The competition of models/projects imbibes the spirit of healthy competition and motivates the students to deliver a high level of performance leading to excellence. The students made an excellent exposition of their scientific and creative talent in the miniature form which was amazingly inspiring.

To add more colour and spirit to the event, mellifluous Bollywood singer Dev Negi and the famous Brijwasi Brothers were invited and they left everybody spellbound with their dazzling and charismatic singing and musical performances. On the demand of students, the singers gave the audience more than what they had to offer. Spark Festival was an unforgettable event and it’s just getting bigger and better every year.
