Sanskriti University Organized A Webinar On Eye Problems In COVID: Research Perspective
Sanskriti University’s School of Medical & Allied Sciences conducted a Webinar on Eye problems in COVID awareness amongst students and faculty members of Sanskriti University. Eye related problems are beginning to grow into an epidemic amid the already persistent COVID-19 pandemic. The resource person for the webinar was Dr Lakshami Kuniyal, MBBS, MS (Ophthalmology), FICO ll (London).
The eye problem started to emerge during the second wave of the Corona Virus and its symptoms and ways to prevent were discussed. Dr Lakshami started the session with popular manifestations of COVID -19 which included Bone necrosis, Maxillary bone Involvement and Mucormycosis. During the session, she sensitized the students with the problems, symptoms, diagnoses of different kinds of eye diseases caused by COVID-19.
