BBA and Integrated BBA + MBA students of Sanskriti University have built an e-commerce website which would enable tourists all over the world to book hotels, cabs, food and guided tours of Braj region which is a major tourist destination and a busy pilgrimage centre of North India. The website would not only allow pre-booking of ‘Braj Darshan’ involving site seeing at Vrindavan, Govardhan, Gokul and nearby sites but also booking ‘Prasad’ online which would solve the hassles of many thousands of devotees that throng to the city of Mathura every year.

BBA student Akash Bhardwaj, Integrated BBA + MBA student Mohit Agrawal and Mayank Goswami are the founders and benefactors of this business venture. The students with the help of the faculty at the School of Management and Commerce at Sanskriti University conceptualized and planned the development of this project. According to Akash Bhardwaj, the hassles faced by tourists presented a unique business opportunity and they wanted to be the first movers in solving this problem using digital commerce.

Rightly quoted by the vice-chancellor, one of Sanskriti University’s primary objectives during course delivery is to ensure practical orientation along with academic delivery.

Launched by Member of Parliament and film actress of yesteryears Hema Malini in 2018 at a hotel in Mathura, the students are considering simplifying the user experience further by launching a mobile application.
