Changing the lives of rural people and providing medical treatment

Posted on in Ayurveda · Sanskriti University

Sanskriti University has always believed in the idea of being socially responsible and the general concept of giving back to society. We completely agree with the idea of making our resources useful to those who lack the financial capability to afford them. Nevertheless, they should be getting some benefits because as eminent institutions, it is our responsibility to take on certain roles and provide for the vulnerable. Because of this thought, we do a lot of work based on goodwill and as a moral responsibility of educators worldwide. As they say, we should always be able to set an example for students, if we want them to follow our lead and become a better person. It all begins at the home ground.

We have made some progress when it comes to our CSR

  • Started a school for teaching differently-able children from Vrindavan and adjoining areas. We ferry them to and fro and also provide free lunch. Their education is free of cost and the curriculum designed for them is very unique and highly suitable.
  • The University also operates a school called Vision School dedicated to special and differently-able students.
  • Regular Blood Donation Camps
  • Free eye check-up camps
  • Adopted the policy of ‘One tree per student’ to combat pollution and do our bit
  • Free medical camps for all, so that many people who don’t have an easy access to hospitals can benefit from it. We are one of the 8 private hospitals to offer free services to the poor. We also plan to spread awareness about the AYUSH system of medicine as much as we can.
  • The BAMS department is also regularly conducting camps in nearby villages and examining the patients and providing medicines as a part of discharging corporate social responsibilities.
  • We also spread various social messages through all our academic and non-academic endeavors.
  • In these times of uncertainty, we are also providing free food and other essentials to the migrant workers who were travelling back to their homes during Covid2019.

When it comes to social responsibility we leave no stones unturned. We make sure that we do whatever it takes to bring some relief to society. Being in the noble profession of teaching, we must serve the people in and around us. And also not miss out on those who can’t come to us. Therefore, at Sanskriti University, we help everyone who needs to be helped. We think of the environment and continue to do our bit on that part as well. Every student, every teacher and staff member works towards the betterment of society and knows their responsibility. We do not just impart quality education. We also create responsible citizens of tomorrow and we are proud of that! We hope to continue to serve the society for ages to come.
